About the role
Join RSM Australia as an Accountant and work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, turning financial data into clear, meaningful insights that support smarter decision‑making and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards.
- Prepare clear, well‑structured work papers and review financial statements and management accounts for accuracy.
- Identify and help resolve accounting issues and apply basic tax compliance procedures.
- Support tax planning activities and prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts.
- Complete required regulatory forms accurately and meet lodgment deadlines.
Required profile
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major.
- Commenced (or intention to commence) CA or equivalent qualification.
