Account Manager (Technology Consulting)

About the role

NCS Australia, a technology services and consulting firm with more than 47 years of Australian heritage, is looking for a Client Service Consultant to grow and manage a portfolio of emerging accounts. The role involves building client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and supporting revenue growth through proactive client engagement, account expansion and solution-based consulting.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships across a portfolio of client accounts, identifying and qualifying new opportunities.
• Drive account expansion through renewals, engagement extensions and reactivation of dormant clients.
• Act as the primary client contact, ensuring responsive support and high client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with talent, capability, product and delivery teams to match client needs with the right solutions and resources.
• Generate and manage pipeline activity, keeping CRM records, forecasts and opportunity plans accurate.
• Support proposals, pricing and commercial activities while protecting revenue and margin outcomes.
• Identify risks, coordinate delivery outcomes and achieve portfolio revenue, growth and sold margin targets.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years' experience in technology services sales, account management, recruitment or a related client-facing role.
• Proven ability to succeed in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Valid Australian work rights; agencies submit candidates only through the NCS Agency Portal, and background, probity and police checks may be required.
