Account Manager – Oncology

About the role

The Account Manager – Oncology will build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, presenting Merit’s medical devices, demonstrating their benefits, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Meet regularly with clients to present and demonstrate products, identify potential customers, and monitor satisfaction.
• Prepare customized drawings, pricing contracts, and monthly sales reports.
• Resolve manufacturing or delivery issues and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely shipments.
• Make pricing decisions within authorized limits to optimize sales volume and profitability.
• Travel by car, plane, or bus to perform sales duties and attend training meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Minimum three years of direct sales experience, preferably medical products.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to travel extensively, work long hours, and maintain an excellent driving record.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Experience using word processing and database software.
