Account Manager – BD Pyxis

About the role

The Account Manager – BD Pyxis will drive growth of BD’s automated medication dispensing solutions across NSW and ACT. You will work with public and private hospitals to improve medication safety, workflow efficiency and operational performance through strategic, capital‑intensive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award.
• Lead demonstrations, workflow reviews and solution design discussions with pharmacy, nursing, IT and procurement stakeholders.
• Build financial and operational business cases to support customer decision‑making and navigate hospital procurement and capital approval processes.
• Collaborate with Clinical Specialists, Product teams and Project Managers throughout the customer journey and maintain accurate pipeline reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling capital equipment or healthcare technology into hospitals, with strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Ability to engage and influence clinical, technical and executive stakeholders across complex, multi‑year sales cycles.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and organisational skills, with a proactive and resilient mindset.
