Account Executive - Public Sector

About the role

Axon is seeking an Account Executive to sell its products and services to large law enforcement and public safety agencies across Australia. This quota‑carrying, field‑based position involves managing complex, high‑value sales opportunities and building senior‑level relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow revenue and market share at designated agencies, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving strategic objectives.
• Develop and execute account strategies in collaboration with the account team to deliver strong value propositions.
• Maintain and deepen client relationships, oversee all account activities, and provide product demonstrations and training as needed.
• Forecast sales, track competitor activity, and provide market intelligence to management.
• Travel up to 70% to engage with customers and support territory growth.

Required profile

• Proven track record in software (SaaS/Cloud) sales with consultative selling experience.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex solutions and build senior‑level relationships.
• Experience with data management tools such as Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies.
• Willingness to own and drive territory performance, with up to 70% travel.
