Account Executive – Insurance Consulting

About the role

Join Marsh’s Health and Benefits team in Sydney as an Account Executive. This hybrid position requires you to be in the office at least three days a week and involves client‑facing responsibilities across a portfolio of small to medium Australian businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide trusted consulting advice on group life and salary continuance insurance to SME clients.
• Work with the placement team on renewals and new business, handling insurer negotiations, policy documentation and client reporting.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within your portfolio.
• Collaborate with specialists to manage complex client needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients and insurers, keeping accurate records and upholding compliance standards.

Required profile

• Excellent client relationship skills with confidence communicating at all levels.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in an insurance or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical ability to translate complex information into clear, practical advice.
• High attention to detail in policy documentation, reporting and record keeping.
