Workday HCM Consultant – Talent, Performance & Learning

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Workday HCM Functional Consultant with hands‑on experience in Talent Management, Performance Management and Learning modules. You will work with clients and delivery teams to translate business requirements into practical Workday solutions, configure the platform and support testing and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive functional workstreams for Workday Talent, Performance and Learning implementations, enhancements and optimisation initiatives.
• Run discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture current processes, pain points and future‑state objectives.
• Translate requirements into functional designs, configuration workbooks, user stories and solution decisions.
• Configure Workday Talent, Performance and Learning functionality, including profiles, competencies, goals, review processes, learning content, courses and enrolment rules.
• Partner with Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Reporting, Security, Integrations and Data teams to deliver an integrated end‑to‑end solution.
• Prepare and execute unit, system and user acceptance testing, manage defects and support data preparation and validation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on functional experience configuring and supporting Workday HCM with depth in Talent Management, Performance Management and/or Learning.
• Experience across at least one full Workday implementation lifecycle or a substantial optimisation, deployment or support program.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, convert business needs into clear functional solutions and produce design documents, test scenarios and user guidance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills with attention to detail.
