Senior People Partner – Remote (Australia)

About the role

The People Plugin is seeking an experienced Senior People Partner to work remotely across Australia. You will partner with high‑growth businesses, providing strategic HR guidance and hands‑on implementation to drive performance and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client businesses, delivering People & Culture strategies, roadmaps and performance frameworks.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance, remuneration and compliance matters.
• Conduct HR audits, engagement surveys, workforce planning and organisational change projects.
• Implement and optimise HRIS platforms, HR systems and processes.
• Provide regular client reporting, demonstrate impact with data, and support client renewals.

Required profile

• 5+ years broad HR experience, including at least 2 years in a senior HRBP or People Partner role.
• Strong stakeholder management, able to build trust quickly with founders and executives.
• Commercially minded, solution‑focused and comfortable managing multiple client projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work Act and Modern Awards.
• Expertise in employee relations, performance management, remuneration and organisational change.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and HR data reporting.
