Senior Safeguarding & Wellbeing Risk Consultant

About the role

Join Zurich Resilience Solutions as a Senior Safeguarding & Wellbeing Risk Consultant, reporting to the Head of Workplace Resilience Solutions. You will lead the design and delivery of safeguarding and wellbeing risk management services for our education portfolio, helping schools strengthen safeguards while supporting internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely safeguarding advice to schools and key stakeholders.
• Conduct desktop, remote and on‑site assessments and produce clear, risk‑based reports.
• Review safeguarding governance, policies, recruitment, training, incident reporting and assurance controls.
• Develop assessment frameworks, grading methods, reporting standards and portfolio insights.
• Manage specialist partners to ensure quality and consistency.
• Support education, client engagement and business development through webinars, research and industry insights.

Required profile

• Senior professional experience in safeguarding, child protection or a closely related field.
• Experience working with education, school, faith‑based or youth environments.
• Proven capability assessing safeguarding governance, policies, recruitment, training and control effectiveness.
• Strong risk assessment, sensitive interviewing, stakeholder engagement and technical report‑writing abilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or substantial equivalent experience, plus a current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one.
