Wholesale & Franchise Sales Assistant

About the role

Harry’s Café de Wheels is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sales Assistant to support its Wholesale and Franchise sales functions at the Ultimo headquarters in Sydney. Reporting directly to the owner, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries, help build a pipeline of prospective contacts and provide essential sales administration support.

Key responsibilities

• Handle phone and email enquiries related to wholesale and franchise sales.
• Qualify, manage and respond to incoming leads in a timely, professional manner.
• Research and identify new wholesale and franchise prospects to expand the pipeline.
• Support the sales process from initial enquiry through hand‑over, including scheduling follow‑ups.
• Prepare basic proposals, quotations and information packs with internal assistance.
• Coordinate diaries and logistics for product demonstrations, tastings and sample deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions and sales activity.
• Liaise with internal teams to onboard new wholesale and franchise customers.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales and franchising functions and perform ad‑hoc office tasks as required.

Required profile

• Experience in an administrative, customer service, or entry‑level sales support role.
• Strong organisational skills and a willingness to follow established processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Professional, personable attitude with a focus on delivering high‑quality service.
