Assistant Store Manager – Broadway

About the role

Bailey Nelson is expanding rapidly and seeks an Assistant Store Manager for its Broadway location. You will support the Store Manager and Optometrist in delivering a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Take ownership of the store two days a week, leading the team and driving performance.
• Maintain the appointment book and ensure every customer interaction is easy and enjoyable.
• Coach and support the team to consistently deliver great service.

Required profile

• Alignment with Bailey Nelson’s values: tight‑knit, down‑to‑earth, constantly improving.
• Retail or optics experience at a supervisor or management level.
• Confident leader who enjoys developing others.
• Passionate about creating excellent customer experiences.
• Commercially minded, able to drive KPIs and meet sales targets.
• Available to work full‑time on a Sunday‑to‑Thursday roster.
