Veterinary Nurse – Part‑time

About the role

Greencross Vets Paradise is seeking a passionate Veterinary Nurse to join its team on a part‑time basis (approximately 20 hours per week). The role offers a mix of clinical nursing, client interaction and reception duties in a supportive, no‑after‑hours environment.

Key responsibilities

• Medical and surgical nursing, including anaesthetic monitoring and patient recovery.
• Client education, consultation nursing and emergency/critical care support.
• Diagnostic testing, pathology, minor procedures and hospital patient care.
• Reception tasks such as answering phones, booking appointments and managing client enquiries.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Strong animal handling, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• RxWorks (desirable but not essential).
