Veterinary Director – Riverway Clinic

About the role

Lead the newly built Riverway veterinary clinic in Townsville, shaping its clinical direction, team culture, and service delivery. This is a unique opportunity to build a clinic from the ground up with strong network support.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain clinical standards and direction for the clinic.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a collaborative veterinary and nursing team.
• Create a calm, supportive environment for staff and clients.
• Develop specialised services, including radioactive iodine treatment.
• Build strong relationships with the local community and Greencross network.

Required profile

• Veterinarian eligible for unrestricted registration in Queensland.
• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a senior role.
• Passion for mentoring, team building, and high‑quality clinical decision‑making.
• Desire to create something meaningful rather than maintain the status quo.
