Veterinary Associate – Flexible Part‑Time Role

About the role

Greencross Vets Wishart Road is seeking a Veterinary Associate to join a friendly, collaborative team. The position is flexible, offering either casual or permanent part‑time hours that you can tailor to your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultations and perform procedures for dogs, cats and occasional pocket pets.
• Work alongside two veterinarians and three veterinary nurses, supporting preventative, fear‑free and palliative care.
• Utilise the clinic’s surgical theatre, dental area and digital radiography for diagnostics and treatment.

Required profile

• Veterinary degree eligible for registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland.
• Commitment to thoughtful patient care and ability to work autonomously within a team.

Required skills

• Digital radiography and dental radiography operation.
• Use of in‑house laboratory and diagnostic blood analysis equipment.
• Familiarity with multi‑parameter monitoring, Doppler and Bair Hugger warming equipment.
