Undergraduate Accountant – Superannuation

About the role

Join the Superannuation team at William Buck as an Undergraduate Accountant, supporting the financial wellbeing of clients through the administration and compliance of self‑managed superannuation funds (SMSFs). You will gain hands‑on experience from day one, working alongside seasoned professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, annual returns and compliance documentation for SMSFs.
• Assist with workpapers, reconciliations and maintain client files.
• Ensure compliance with tax and superannuation legislation.
• Liaise with auditors, clients and internal stakeholders to gather and clarify information.
• Maintain accurate SMSF records using specialist software.
• Participate in internal training and development sessions.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborate across service lines.

Required profile

• Currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics or a related field with a major in Accounting.
• Detail‑oriented, eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges.
• Excited to gain exposure to a diverse range of clients and industries.
• Comfortable working independently and communicating effectively within a team.
