Transport Modeller – Planning & Advisory

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Transport Modeller to join our Planning & Advisory team in Brisbane. You will develop, test and apply transport models that support informed decision‑making across a variety of infrastructure projects, helping to shape smarter mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver transport modelling tasks to industry‑leading technical standards.
• Develop, calibrate and apply transport models to support project outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
• Manage scope, risks and timelines across multiple projects.
• Prepare high‑quality technical reports, proposals and presentations for clients, committees and public forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Planning or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in transport modelling.
• Proven ability to independently deliver technical tasks on small to medium projects.
• Strong quantitative analysis, data handling and project management skills.
• Experience managing client relationships and expectations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with transport modelling software such as TRIPS, Voyager, EMME, Visum, SATURN and TransCAD.
• Micro‑simulation experience using VISSIM, Paramics or Aimsun.
• Intersection modelling and analysis using SIDRA.
