Team Leader – Cruise Retail Business Owner (Australia)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader to run a new cruise retail store under Flight Centre’s Business Ownership Scheme. You will own the profit and loss, lead a small team and deliver memorable cruise experiences to customers across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Apply strategic insights to drive profitability, operational excellence and market growth.
• Lead, inspire and coach the team to meet sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and actively promote cruise packages.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and the local community to expand the business network.
• Manage end‑to‑end cruise bookings, including quoting, invoicing and travel confirmations.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in retail or wholesale within the cruise or travel industry.
• Proven track record in a customer‑service environment with sales targets.
• Experience using a Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure.
• Ambitious, highly motivated and efficient at organising tasks.
