Tax Professional – Advisory & Compliance

About the role

PwC Australia is seeking a Tax Professional to join its Tax practice across any of its Australian offices. You will work with leading clients to deliver technically sound, strategically relevant tax solutions, ranging from compliance to complex advisory projects.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and address the unique tax needs of iconic Australian clients across financial services, real estate, infrastructure and more.
• Manage client portfolios, build trusted relationships, and liaise with taxation authorities.
• Support complex strategic tax projects, including corporate, global, GST, US tax advisory, tax controversy and real‑estate tax matters.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with client circumstances and timelines.
• Drive the use of technology and automation to enhance compliance processes.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; postgraduate qualifications (MBA or Master’s) are highly regarded.
• Experience delivering tax advisory and compliance services in a professional services environment, preferably a Big 4 firm.
• Strong interest in technology and automation within tax processes.
