Tax Consultant – Specialist Advisory Role

About the role

Join a high‑growth professional services firm as a Tax Consultant, working alongside senior managers and partners on complex tax matters for a diverse client base. This position offers exposure beyond routine compliance, allowing you to develop deep technical expertise in advisory engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Research and deliver high‑quality tax advice across a broad portfolio of private businesses, family groups, high‑net‑worth individuals and international investors.
• Assist with complex business restructures, succession planning, acquisitions, divestments and cross‑border expansions.
• Provide guidance on property transactions, investment structures and indirect taxes such as GST and payroll tax.
• Support corporate tax engagements, including Division 7A, Small Business CGT concessions, Tax Consolidations and TOFA.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in business services, tax advisory, tax consulting or tax law.
• Motivation to commence CTA and/or a Master of Taxation.
• Strong analytical mindset and commercial focus with excellent communication skills.
