Talent Acquisition Delivery Manager – High Volume (Melbourne)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Talent Acquisition Delivery Manager to lead a team of three recruiters and drive high‑volume hiring across operational workforces in Victoria and Tasmania. This role combines strategic leadership with the ability to roll up your sleeves and support recruitment activity directly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop three Talent Acquisition professionals, each managing their own recruitment portfolio.
• Drive recruitment activity, productivity and delivery against ambitious hiring targets.
• Monitor team performance, identify bottlenecks and intervene when needed.
• Build trusted relationships with operational leaders to understand workforce requirements and deliver solutions.
• Champion proactive sourcing strategies, talent pooling and creative approaches for hard‑to‑find candidates.
• Ensure recruitment processes are efficient, compliant and managed through Workday.
• Support adoption of emerging recruitment technology and automation.

Required profile

• Proven success in high‑volume recruitment, preferably in blue‑collar, healthcare, facilities management, logistics or similar operational sectors.
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring recruiters in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, productivity and team performance drivers.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills with a commercial mindset.
• Proactive sourcing mindset beyond basic job advertisements.
• Commitment to confidentiality, integrity and compliance.
