Principal Workforce Development Consultant

About the role

The Public Transport Authority is seeking an experienced leader to manage its Workforce Development function and lead a team of consultants delivering graduate, apprenticeship, trainee and specialist pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Workforce Development team, driving continuous improvement and change.
• Design, deliver and enhance a portfolio of workforce development programs aligned with organisational needs.
• Engage with executives, industry partners, government agencies, training providers and educational institutions.
• Ensure programs remain effective, contemporary and meet future workforce capability requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in a complex organisational environment.
• Strong track record delivering workforce development programs and knowledge of the Australian VET system.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing abilities.
• Analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
