Talent Acquisition Advisor (2 openings)

About the role

Anglo American Australia is seeking two experienced Talent Acquisition Advisors on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. One role is based in Brisbane’s corporate office, the other on‑site in Moranbah with camp accommodation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of vacancies.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and conduct intake meetings.
• Conduct market mapping, talent pipelining, screening, shortlisting and interview coordination.
• Provide market insights, talent intelligence and recruitment recommendations.
• Prepare offers, support remuneration, onboarding and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.

Required profile

• Experience in an internal talent acquisition function, preferably within mining or resources.
• Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and relationship‑building abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with recruitment platforms such as SmartRecruiters or SuccessFactors.
• Advanced sourcing techniques for passive talent.
