Strategic Account Executive – Mining Sector

About the role

Microsoft is looking for a Strategic Account Executive to lead the relationship with a key enterprise customer in the mining industry, based in Perth. You will shape and execute the account strategy, helping the customer achieve business objectives and maximise value from Microsoft’s cloud, data and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the primary relationship with a strategic enterprise customer, building trusted ties with business and technology stakeholders.
• Develop and execute a long‑term account plan aligned to customer priorities and outcomes.
• Identify growth opportunities across Microsoft’s cloud, data, AI and security portfolio and drive revenue and consumption.
• Coordinate Microsoft teams and partners to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Engage senior decision‑makers, including C‑suite executives, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Maintain pipeline health, forecasting and opportunity planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and growing strategic or enterprise customer relationships.
• Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and leading complex sales opportunities.
• Ability to develop and execute account strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Experience navigating commercial and technical discussions within large organisations.
• Background in the mining industry.
