Stores Officer

About the role

AccorHotel is seeking an organised and hands‑on Stores Officer to support daily operations across its hotels in Sydney Olympic Park. Working closely with the Stores Manager, you will ensure departments have the supplies they need and maintain accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store goods according to purchase orders and FIFO principles.
• Distribute stock and supplies to hotel departments efficiently.
• Conduct temperature checks on incoming goods and complete daily compliance checklists.
• Monitor purchase orders, process invoices and follow up on supplier credits.
• Coordinate returns, discrepancies and missing items with suppliers and internal teams.
• Assist with monthly stocktakes, inventory audits and maintain clean, compliant storage areas.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel environment.
• Valid forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Proactive, reliable and trustworthy work approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
