Store Manager – Gyprock Trade

About the role

The Gyprock Trade Centre Store Manager is a full‑time position based in Thomastown, Victoria. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead a diverse team, ensure safety compliance and drive store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Champion safety compliance, conduct site safety walks and protect staff, customers and the public.
• Hire, train and supervise employees to deliver excellent customer service.
• Oversee sales activities, promote products, support marketing campaigns and open new accounts.
• Monitor the store’s P&L, analyse financial performance and implement profitability improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a retail or trade environment.
• Strong focus on safety and the ability to conduct safety inspections.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Forklift licence (essential).
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am‑3:00 pm.
