1 Hotel Melbourne is seeking a Spa & Wellness Director to lead the Bamford Spa and shape a restorative, elevated wellness offering. This senior position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on operational management to deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Bamford Wellness Spa, ensuring service excellence and commercial performance.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that position the spa as a leader in luxury wellness.
• Curate and evolve wellness experiences, programming, and treatment offerings in line with brand standards.
• Build cross‑functional partnerships across the hotel to deliver a seamless guest journey.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, inventory, facility upkeep, and team deployment.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Monitor budgets, drive profitability, and maximise daily revenue opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the spa team, fostering a culture of accountability and care.

• Proven leadership and communication skills with experience in team development and mentoring.
