Social Media Manager – Agency Leadership Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join a fast‑paced digital agency. You will lead a growing team while staying hands‑on with strategy, content creation, and client communication across a diverse portfolio of brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists across multiple client accounts.
• Manage your own portfolio of clients and campaigns from concept to execution.
• Oversee content planning, scheduling, approvals, reporting and campaign roll‑outs.
• Collaborate with internal creative teams on social strategy, content direction and execution.
• Support content creation for social and digital platforms, leveraging AI tools and digital workflows.
• Build strong client relationships and manage communications across projects.
• Contribute ideas for content performance, campaign optimisation and emerging social trends.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience within an agency environment (must‑have).
• Proven experience managing social accounts and client relationships across multiple brands.
• Leadership or team‑management experience.
• Strong understanding of social platforms, digital trends, content strategy and performance‑driven content.
• Professional, proactive and highly organised working style.
• Australian working rights.
