Small Business Specialist – Business Banking

About the role

The Small Business Specialist joins ANZ's Business & Private Bank to work directly with small‑business customers in a branch environment. You will combine industry insight with tailored banking solutions to help owners start, run and grow their enterprises while delivering excellent customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct phone‑based lending enquiries, understanding customers' business needs and financial objectives.
• Collaborate with Asset Finance Managers, Credit Assessment, Quality Control and Fulfilment teams to structure appropriate solutions.
• Partner with Branch Managers, Bankers and local B&PB teams to identify growth opportunities and deepen relationships.
• Provide proactive business development and referral support to drive commercial growth.
• Ensure all interactions comply with risk and regulatory standards, acting in the best interest of the customer.

Required profile

• Experience in small‑business banking or related financial services.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
