Site Supervisor

About the role

Dematic, a global leader in warehouse automation, is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage large‑scale projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will coordinate installation, commissioning and engineering activities on‑site, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical and electrical installation drawings and plans.
• Liaise with clients, builders and sub‑contractors to align project delivery.
• Promote innovation, risk identification and occupational health, safety and environment management.
• Obtain materials, organise inspections and supervise equipment maintenance.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of sub‑contractors and coordinate quality assurance inspections.
• Implement commissioning procedures and ensure safe installation practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager on large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or electrical trade background.
• Strong knowledge of WHSE requirements and ability to read technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and proven team‑leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel interstate and internationally within the APAC region.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of material handling equipment (advantageous).
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
