Site Supervisor – Warehouse Automation Projects

About the role

Dematic, a global leader in intelligent logistics solutions, is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage large‑scale warehouse automation projects across Australia and New Zealand. This 18‑month fixed‑term position will involve coordinating installation, commissioning and engineering activities on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical and electrical drawings and plans.
• Liaise with clients, builders and sub‑contractors.
• Promote innovation, risk identification and safety management (WHSE).
• Obtain materials, organise inspections and supervise equipment maintenance.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of sub‑contractors and ensure quality assurance.
• Implement commissioning and safe installation procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager on large capital projects.
• Mechanical or electrical trade background.
• Strong knowledge of WHSE requirements.
• Excellent communication and team‑leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel interstate and overseas in the APAC region.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
