Service Technician

About the role

The Service Technician will perform mechanical repair, overhaul and maintenance of compressed air equipment and related products. The role involves troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, and providing technical assistance to customers across Australia and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Identify problems in air compressors and generators using diagnostic equipment and mechanical fault‑finding techniques.
• Carry out repairs, replace parts, change oil, clean filters and coolers, and re‑grease motors to restore equipment functionality.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate service records, complete service reports, work permits and other documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols, complete Job Hazard Analyses, use appropriate PPE and keep the work environment clean.
• Travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, and work in varied environments including construction sites and industrial facilities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a maintenance field service environment, preferably with pneumatic equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and possession of an Australian Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with service, sales and administration teams.

Required skills

• Fault finding in compressed air equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of air compressors and generators.
• Use of diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and components.
