Service Account Representative – Key Account Management

About the role

Otis is seeking a Service Account Representative to join its Port Melbourne office, focusing on key accounts for lift and escalator maintenance products and services. The role involves building strong customer relationships, driving service sales, and supporting modernisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve service sales targets and manage submission activities according to an individual plan.
• Provide daily, value‑based account management for key and national accounts, including product proposals.
• Maintain regular face‑to‑face contact with Otis customers and deliver accurate forecasts and reports.
• Meet in‑warranty conversion targets and drive unit growth to expand the portfolio.
• Prepare and deliver customer presentations that promote Otis products and services.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the Operations team, helping develop transport solutions.
• Identify and collaborate on modernisation sales opportunities within the portfolio.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of frontline sales or key account management experience, preferably in the elevator/escalator industry.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong business acumen, results‑orientation and ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑influence skills.
• Team‑player who can anticipate client needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using mobile applications and computer‑based reporting systems.
• Ability to work with databases, email and internet tools for data analysis.
