Senior Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Security Engineer joins Inotiv’s Information Security team to design, tune and operate detections, support incident response, and strengthen cloud and vulnerability management across a global hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, tune and maintain security detections across EDR, email, cloud and network telemetry, mapping to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Lead end‑to‑end incident response, including threat hunting, forensic analysis and participation in an on‑call rotation.
• Deploy, configure and optimize security tools, ensuring health and performance.
• Contribute to Azure, AWS and Microsoft 365 security posture, hardening and remediation.
• Support vulnerability management with scanning, risk‑based prioritisation and clear reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5‑8 years of experience in security engineering, operations, incident response or vulnerability management.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across IT, infrastructure and leadership teams.

Required skills

• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms.
• Cloud security for Azure, AWS and Microsoft 365.
• MITRE ATT&CK framework knowledge.
• Vulnerability management tools and processes.
• Scripting/automation: Python, PowerShell, KQL.
