Senior Roads Designer

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Designer to join its Transport team in Brisbane. You will act as a technical specialist, applying advanced design principles and digital engineering practices to deliver high‑quality infrastructure solutions across Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil design activities across a range of transport projects.
• Implement and enhance BIM technologies and digital delivery processes.
• Develop best‑practice design and drafting solutions.
• Support the delivery of high‑quality design and drawing packages.
• Drive efficiencies through automation and digital innovation.
• Train and mentor Global Integrated Delivery teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in civil design, including 12d road design, geometrics and CAD.
• Ability to manage design deliverables to quality, schedule and budget expectations.
• Experience identifying project risks, opportunities and practical solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to mentor and support others.
• Relevant civil qualification.
