Senior Rehabilitation Counsellor

About the role

APM Workcare is seeking a Senior Rehabilitation Counsellor to guide clients through their return to life after physical or psychological injury. You will use a whole‑of‑person approach, combining clinical expertise with health coaching to achieve client‑identified goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex psychological cases and provide health coaching.
• Conduct one‑off vocational assessments both face‑to‑face and virtually across Australia.
• Support clients in achieving personal return‑to‑life objectives.
• Deliver non‑compensation and claim‑related psychosocial support to large corporate and government customers.
• Utilise award‑winning psychosocial risk tools to drive outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree in Rehabilitation Counselling.
• Full membership with ASORC.
• At least 1 year of experience in Occupational Rehabilitation.
• Pass national criminal and working‑with‑children checks.
• Australian work rights, a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
