Senior Recruitment Consultant – Accounting & Finance

About the role

We are seeking a senior recruitment consultant to launch and grow an Accounting & Finance desk for a boutique Brisbane agency. You will work within a supportive leadership team, leveraging an established client base and strong infrastructure to build long‑term relationships in the professional services market.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and expand a specialist Accounting & Finance recruitment desk covering permanent placements.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with accounting firms and commercial finance clients.
• Source, interview, and manage candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Drive business development activities to win new accounts and deepen existing partnerships.
• Utilise LinkedIn, referrals, networking and headhunting techniques to attract high‑quality talent.
• Provide post‑placement after‑care and contribute to the overall growth of the division.

Required profile

• Previous agency recruitment experience in Accounting & Finance or professional services.
• Commercially driven with a passion for building lasting client relationships.
• Strong communication, networking and stakeholder management abilities.
• Motivated to build a specialist desk within a high‑performing environment.
• Full Australian working rights.
