Head of People Experience

About the role

Brocki is expanding its gourmet cookie brand internationally and needs a senior leader to shape its people ecosystem. Based in Brisbane, the Head of People Experience will blend strategic vision with hands‑on execution to build scalable HR systems, strengthen employer branding, and ensure compliance across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership on global people & culture strategy, workforce planning and compliance/payroll reporting.
• Oversee multi‑site recruitment, onboarding and hire‑to‑retire processes for retail, production, head office and international hubs.
• Lead workplace engagement, wellbeing initiatives, employee relations and succession planning.
• Govern policy library, ensure industrial compliance and manage people technology platforms.

Required profile

• Proven people leadership in fast‑growing multi‑site retail, hospitality or food manufacturing environments.
• Expert knowledge of Australian employment law, Awards and Fair Work Act compliance.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience scaling businesses and setting up international HR controls.
• Ability to maintain absolute discretion with employee data and align with company values.

Required skills

• Technical proficiency with workforce platforms and payroll frameworks.
• Experience designing learning pathways and implementing LMS solutions.
