Senior HR Advisor – Human Resources Expert

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our Brisbane team, reporting to the Human Resources Manager – Corporate East Coast & NZ. The role partners closely with operational and functional leaders to deliver comprehensive HR support across employee relations, workforce planning, talent development and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to design and implement people solutions aligned with business needs.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations, complex investigations, risk mitigation and fairness.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence (Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Organisational Development, Remuneration) to deliver integrated HR solutions.
• Draft HR correspondence such as contracts, policies, organisational charts and manage HR reporting and people metrics.
• Coach and advise leaders on people management, capability development and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Required profile

• 8+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a business‑partnering capacity.
• Previous on‑site experience in construction, engineering or mining environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to sites as required.
