About the role
The Senior Purchasing Professional will manage complex purchase orders for a major EPC project in Queensland. This part‑time hybrid role involves both remote work and regular on‑site collaboration with the project team.
Key responsibilities
- Form, issue and administer complex purchase orders.
- Develop and prepare project master purchasing pro‑forma forms, including legal and commercial terms.
- Support the creation of purchasing procedures, planning and forecasting for the purchasing team.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers, resolve issues and ensure compliance with purchase order requirements.
- Communicate with suppliers to secure required services and meet project needs.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in procurement or purchasing within large, multi‑discipline projects.
- Strong understanding of contract requirements and commercial terms.
- Proven negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
