Senior Project Manager – New Energy (NSW)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead substation and high‑voltage transmission projects for a growing New Energy division in New South Wales. The role combines technical delivery with stakeholder engagement and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of substation and transmission projects from initiation through handover.
• Manage program schedules, budgets and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships based on trust and collaboration.
• Represent the organisation in stakeholder meetings, community forums and industry events.
• Identify business opportunities, contribute to proposals and support division growth.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical specialists to ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Extensive project management experience in substations and high‑voltage transmission.
• Proven track record of delivering construction‑phase projects in energy or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of the New South Wales market and professional networks.
• Excellent communication skills with senior‑level decision‑makers and on‑site teams.
• Commercial mindset with ability to drive business growth.
