Senior Project Manager - Aviation Infrastructure

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of aviation infrastructure and construction projects. The role ensures safe, compliant and successful outcomes with minimal impact on airport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects through their full lifecycle, delivering scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Define project scope, prepare business cases and support funding and approval processes.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders so that project requirements, approvals and operational constraints are managed effectively.
• Lead consultant and contractor procurement, contract administration, change management and commercial oversight.
• Oversee site activities, manage project risks and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience delivering construction and infrastructure projects, preferably in the aviation sector.
• Sound knowledge of Australian building regulations, relevant standards and aviation industry requirements.
• Proven capability in contract administration, contractor management, procurement and commercial management.
• Ability to work autonomously within a collaborative project environment.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).

Required skills

• Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 applications.
