Senior Project Engineer – Civil

About the role

Join a fast‑growing South Australian civil contractor and take the next step towards Project Management. You will work closely with experienced Project Managers and site teams, contributing to the technical, commercial and operational delivery of significant civil projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering and project activities from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Manage project programmes, cost control, forecasting, variations and reporting.
• Ensure delivery complies with design, specifications, quality and safety standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and build strong client and partner relationships.

Required profile

• Relevant civil engineering qualification.
• Proven senior project engineer experience in civil construction or infrastructure.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project financial outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ambition to progress into a Project Manager role.
