About the role

Join AECOM’s Building Engineering team in Perth as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective design solutions for a wide range of building projects across ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design packages for major client projects, focusing on HVAC and building services systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce calculations, specifications and detailed design documentation.
• Mentor graduate and junior engineers, fostering continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Required profile

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership, with professional registration.
• Up to 9+ years of experience in building services consultancy or mechanical contracting.
• Proven record of delivering mechanical engineering design across diverse sectors.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
