About the role
AECOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Building Services experience to join its national Building Engineering team in Melbourne. The role offers the chance to work on multi‑disciplinary projects across sectors such as sports, defence, aviation, healthcare and data‑centres.
Key responsibilities
- Lead high‑quality, cost‑effective mechanical/HVAC design on a variety of projects.
- Participate in technical reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and perform quality control of design calculations and drawings.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (or related) with current RPEQ/RPEV and chartership (or working towards).
- 4+ years of mechanical design experience in a building services consultancy or senior mechanical services role.
- Australian citizenship (defence clearance highly regarded).
