Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships

About the role

Griffith University seeks a Senior Manager to lead strategic partnerships that enhance the university’s profile and support its strategic goals. You will work across multiple faculties and external stakeholders to develop high‑impact collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage major strategic collaborative opportunities involving multiple partners and internal stakeholders, focusing on the Griffith Business School and related faculties.
• Lead partnership prospecting, proposal writing and presentations to grow current and potential partnerships aligned with university strategic goals.
• Collaborate with academic groups, research, advancement and marketing teams to drive impact across research, education and training projects.
• Provide strategic advice, negotiate and draft partnership agreements ensuring compliance with legislative, university and policy requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant postgraduate qualification with substantial experience in business development and value creation.
• Proven track record in leading strategic projects, managing resources and delivering outcomes on time.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities, preferably within higher education.
• Full unrestricted Australian work rights and willingness to undergo a national criminal history check.

• Salary HEW 10 – Base $147,057.74 plus 17% superannuation (total package $172,057.55).
