Senior Lending Assistant – Private Bank

About the role

As a Senior Lending Assistant within ANZ Private Bank, you will support the bank's highest net‑worth clients and family groups throughout the lending journey. You will work closely with Private Bankers, Lending Specialists, Credit and Operations teams to deliver a seamless end‑to‑end lending experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end lending fulfilment from credit approval through to settlement.
• Prepare and coordinate documentation requests, including system setup and workflow management.
• Liaise with Bankers, Lending Specialists, Operations, Legal and Credit teams to ensure efficient delivery of lending outcomes.
• Track approved conditions and verify that all requirements are satisfied prior to drawdown.
• Support accurate and timely settlement of approved loans.
• Assist in the preparation of credit submissions, risk assessments and credit papers.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in lending, credit analysis or banking operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex client structures such as companies, trusts and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
