Senior Lawyer – Public Sector Litigation & Advisory Risk

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to join our Advisory Risk & Regulation practice within the Public Sector Litigation team. You will work closely with partners Cain Sibley and Caroline Bush, providing high‑quality dispute resolution, litigation, and regulatory advice to government and private sector clients.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of dispute resolution, merits review and judicial review matters.
- Represent government departments, agencies and private bodies in courts and tribunals.
- Provide advice on statutory interpretation, regulatory compliance, information privacy and access to information.
- Assist with commercial litigation, royal commissions, inquiries and inquests.
- Develop client relationships and mentor junior lawyers.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in public sector and administrative law.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and client service skills.
- Highly developed time‑management and attention‑to‑detail.
