Senior Insurance Broker – Buying Groups

About the role

Marsh Australia is seeking a motivated Senior Insurance Broker to join its high‑performing Buying Groups team. The role offers variety, client‑focused service and a collaborative environment with hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of insurance schemes with commercial awareness.
• Deliver outstanding service to scheme members and corporate sponsors.
• Drive new business and renewal processes, including policy binding and invoicing.
• Prepare quotations, place slips and support pre‑renewal meetings.
• Produce renewal reports and insurance manuals as required.

Required profile

• Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience in general insurance broking, preferably client‑facing.
• Experience in group, SME or scheme‑based environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using broker systems/platforms.
