Senior Insurance Broker – Buying Groups

About the role

Marsh Australia is seeking a motivated Senior Insurance Broker to join its high‑performing Buying Groups team. The role offers variety, client‑focused service and a collaborative environment, with the option to work in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane on a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of insurance schemes with commercial awareness and accuracy.
• Deliver outstanding service to scheme members and corporate sponsors.
• Drive new business and renewal processes, including policy binding, invoicing and distribution of documentation.
• Prepare quotations, place slips and support pre‑renewal and broking meetings with relevant insights.
• Produce renewal reports and insurance manuals as required.

Required profile

• Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience in general insurance broking, preferably client‑facing or advisory.
• Experience in a Group, SME or scheme‑based environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using broker systems and platforms.
