About the role
The Senior HR Consultant leads end‑to‑end recruitment for frontline officers, support staff and corporate roles across the organisation. This position ensures the Queensland Ambulance Service attracts the right talent to deliver high‑quality ambulance services to the community.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute targeted recruitment strategies, campaigns and promotional events.
- Oversee state‑wide, end‑to‑end recruitment processes for a variety of roles.
- Provide advisory and consultancy support on complex recruitment and HR legislation matters.
- Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to align talent acquisition with organisational goals.
Required profile
- Extensive knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices and HR legislation.
- Proven ability to advise senior management on complex HR issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational abilities.
- Experience managing large‑scale recruitment projects across a state.
